Aporn Khananusit-Hama is an art director and multidiscipline designer specializing in graphic design, branding, package design, design research, user interaction and experience design.
Aporn has worked in the advertising design industry for companies such as Benenson Janson, Ignited Minds and Muse Cordero Chen and Partners. In 2002, she co-founded a design company called Khana Shiro and worked with interesting clients such as George Clooney, Grant Heslov, Steven Soderbergh, Suzanne and Jennifer Todd, Leonardo DiCaprio and Roy Lee. Aporn's passion for design and continuous thirst for new experiences found her way to Nokia in 2005 as a freelance designer and in 2008 as a full-time Senior Designer. In 2012, she embarked on a role as art director for her own company, Khana Design, serving clients in the US and abroad. She also freelances for various creative agencies.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from California State University, Fullerton.
Aporn's interesting childhood in Bangkok, Seattle, New York and Los Angeles contributed to her love for culture, diversity, details, technology and trends. She currently resides in sunny Los Angeles with her young family. When she is not immersed in projects, she loves to cook, travel, or explore nature's open space - photo documenting along the way.
